His Excellency Mr Holger Standertskjold, Ambassador and Head of Delegation of the European Commission to Singapore, visited the IUEU Centre at Macquarie University on 16 April 2007. He met with Professor Christina Slade, Dean of Humanities and Deputy Chair of the IUEU Centre Advisory Board, Ms Jan Zwar Deputy Director, and Ms Xinni Du, Web Coordinator.

The EU is calling for proposals to establish an EU Centre in Singapore and Mr Standertskjold was interested in learning about the activities of the EU Centres in Australia.
