National Europe Centre - Australia (Australian National University)

The 2001 Centenary of Federation in Australia provided an ideal opportunity for the European Commission to join with The Australian National University to establish a National Europe Centre in the Australian Capital Territory, creating an active, commemorative contribution from the peoples of the European Union to the peoples of Australia.

 

Monash European and EU Centre (Monash University)

At Monash, European Studies is taught by the Centre for European Studies. The multidisciplinary Monash European and EU Centre, hosted by the Faculty of Arts and incorporating the Faculties of Law and Business & Economics was jointly established in June 2006 with funding from the European Union and Monash University.

 

Contemporary Europe Research Centre (Melbourne University)

The Contemporary Europe Research Centre is an interdisciplinary research Centre located in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Melbourne. The Centre is also an EU awarded Jean Monnet Centre for Excellence.CERC crosses both national and disciplinary boundaries.

 

EU Centres in New Zealand

The National Centre for Research on Europe (University of Canterbury)

In 2000, the forerunner to the NCRE - the Centre for Research on Europe - was founded at Canterbury. In 2002 a grant from the European Commission was awarded and at this time the Centre became the National Centre for Research on Europe.

 

EU Centres in Korea

The Center for EU Studies started its operation in March 1st, 2006. It is the first Center for EU studies in Korea. Established jointly by the Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS), SNU and Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP), supported and recognized by the European Commission.
