Macquarie University Library Exhibition Space
The exhibition was opened at the Macquarie University Library Exhibition Space at 6.30pm on the 3rd December 2008. The proceedings started with a 'Welcome to Country' performed by Darug elder, Mr Chris Tobin and was followed by an opening speech by documentary photographer Ms Effy Alexakis, whose work also features in this exhibition and who has been actively researching the migrant experience in Australia for many years. Photos from the opening will be added shortly.
